The Bartush Land and Cattle Company

The Bartush Land and Cattle Company (BLCC) is a thirty-five hundred acre, family owned and operated ranch located along the Red River in North Texas. The BLCC offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities, including hunting for white-tailed deer, wild hog, turkey, duck, and dove. Working closely with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and the Noble Foundation, the BLCC has developed a wildlife management program that allows us to integrate our ranching operation while maintaining a diverse and healthy wildlife population. Each year the TPWD manages the TEXAS BIG TIME HUNTS which includes the White-tail Bonanza. White-tail Bonanza winners experience a high-quality white-tailed deer hunt on popular Texas ranches. BLCC is proud to be one of the Ranches chosen by TPWD for the annual white-tail Bonanza. The BLCC offers sportsmen a premiere opportunity to hunt Big Time white-tailed deer in a natural, “low fence” environment. Not only do we offer customized hunting opportunities, but we also have hiking trails, birding routes, and multiple fishing areas, including over two miles of Red River frontage.
The Bartush Land and Cattle Company is included as a stop on the Prairies and Pineywoods Wildlife Trail-West. A map is distributed by the Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas Department of Transportation.
The BLCC has also been recognized and received the prestigious Lone Star Land Steward Award from Texas Parks and Wildlife.

New to our amenities is our 6,000 square foot Log Cabin. The Log Cabin is available to guests as an event center. It features a large, open floor plan with room for guests to dine, shoot pool, play card games, or just enjoy each other’s company by the massive stone fireplace. Outside, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Oklahoma, the Red River, and North Texas bluffs from a wrap-around porch.

Our Mission:
Sustaining diversity of land and wildlife, while producing Livestock and Crops, sufficient to pay BLCC expenses, including reasonable income for Ranch Manager.
